2022 | Threads, paint, scissors, pencils, journals, magazines, and beautiful sheets of paper. Upon arrival, the walls are adorned with artworks and clippings, serving as inspiration. The handmade pastries receive a final touch, and we begin with journaling assignments. The tasks are playful and humorous, and sometimes serious too. We write three pages full of everything going on in our minds. No one else will read it, but it's good to get to the core of how you feel and what's on your mind. I know the benefits of daily writing myself and incorporate this into the workshop as well.

Then, we delve into watercolors, acrylic paint, sketches, and embroidery. This workshop yields surprising outcomes and beautiful reactions from participants such as: "I love being creative, but I don't make enough time for it..." or "I'm completely inspired again and will continue at home!" or "Oh, this actually turned out quite beautiful!". I enjoy creating the opportunity to amaze people with what they can actually do and the effect it has on how they feel. A safe and intimate setting contributes to this.
